STOPS (Students Together Offering Peer Support)

STOPS is a student-run organization at the Faribault High School, open to any interested students grades 9-12. Official members sign contracts pledging to be free of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs. In addition, STOPS members complete 55 hours of community service each year! STOPS meetings are every other Tuesday at 7:20 am at the high school. This student-led group hosts and participates in numerous awareness activities throughout the year, including the 5th Grade Lock-In, the Black Light Dance, Chemical Health Week, the Dance Your Heart Dance Marathon, the Halloween Costume Contest, and Seat Belt Challenge, and many more! STOPS is well known in the community and school district for its committed students and dedication to volunteerism!

SPOTS is a issue-based drama troupe, made up of 9th-12th grade students. SPOTS members create original scenes each year and perform them for classrooms and organizations throughout the community. Every performance addresses tough issues affecting today's youth, such as bullying, peer pressure, and cultural awareness. SPOTS members rehearse every Monday and Friday evening throughout the school year.
