We are happy that you have expressed an interest in joining the professional staff of Faribault Public Schools. We have outlined the application procedure below to assist you in your endeavor to become a member of our staff. To help us secure qualified professional personnel, it is very important to obtain the proper documents in a timely manner.
Please complete/submit the following:
• Application of Licensed Personnel - enclosed form.
• Official copy of your credential file. (I suggest you establish a credential file with a placement office or your college/university if you have not already done so.)
• Current teaching or administrative license.
• Transcripts and current letters of recommendation
An applicant file will be established for you, which will contain your letter of application, application form, credentials, transcripts, resume, and reference letters.
A personal interview is required prior to selection as a Faribault School District employee and will be scheduled by the school district. The interview committee will evaluate the applicant based on their professional preparation, background and experience, and human qualities.
Employment is based on an evaluation of your completed applicant file, the personal interview, and proper Minnesota licensure. The person selected for the position is to assume responsibility for obtaining proper Minnesota certification and should begin the process at the earliest possible date.
