About Us
The Information technology department is responsible for purchasing, installing and maintaining systems related to network infrastructure, telephones and voicemail, student information, web pages, security and backup systems, software programs and SMART classroom equipment.
We currently support 9 school buildings and a district administration office. Our buildings are connected with a fiber WAN backbone and we maintain over 1400 networked computers and laptops district wide. We manage a Voice over IP telephone system which includes 600 phones and voicemail accounts. Most of our classrooms are equipped with an LCD projector, document camera or smart board, voice amplification system, and DVD/VCR combination unit with TV tuner.
We appreciate and value the dedication of our educational staff to student learning and recognize the importance of technology in our schools today. Our technology department is committed to provide exceptional technical support in order to achieve a comprehensive educational experience for all students and staff.
