Protection Plan Coverage

The iPad protection plan will cover  accidental damage from drops, spills, cracked screens, theft, vandalism, fire, flood, natural disasters, and power surges due to lightning. It does not cover loss of the iPad.  The payment is non- refundable regardless of early termination or withdrawal from school for any reason. There is no refund at the end of the school year.  The iPad protection plan lasts for one calendar school year.   All payments, regardless of when made, will expire at the end of the current school year. All claims must be reported through the media center or school office. In case of theft or criminal acts, a police or fire report MUST be filed for the coverage to be utilized. A copy of the report MUST be submitted through the main office or technology department prior to replacement issue of iPad. 

The iPad Protection plan DOES NOT COVER:
Loss of the iPad
Loss of the iPad USB cord or charger block
Damages that occur when the iPad is removed from the iPad case
Intentional damage

IPad USB cord and charger will be made available for purchase at school for $20.00 each.

Claim amounts are as follows with membership in iPad Protection Plan:
1st Damage/Repair Claim = $0
2nd Damage/Repair Claim = $100.00
3rd Damage/Repair Claim = Full cost of the repair or replacement of the iPad up to $300.00

 The iPad protection plan is elective, it is not required. Students who enroll into the plan after the initial distribution must have the iPad visually inspected by a member of the technology staff in order to verify the device is not damaged at the time of purchase.
