Welcome to the Lincoln library!

All classes at Lincoln Elementary come to the media center once per week for 55 minutes to check out books, learn information and literature skills, how to use the media center resources, and computer and other technology skills.

Lincoln Media Center prepares participants for a variety of information-related opportunities in libraries and other environments

Media Center experiences will prepare students to:
1. Access information for learning and personal needs
2. Read diverse materials for a variety of purposes
3. Derive meaning from many resources
4. Communicate ideas and understanding to others

Our Mission

Our mission is to develop, facilitate, and support appropriate uses of library media and technologies in education in order to increase achievement, enhance productivity, inspire creativity, and promote learning.
