School Supplies for All

We are thrilled to announce that for the 2026-27 school year, Faribault Public Schools will once again partner with the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and the Community Action Center to provide all necessary school supplies for students in Pre-K through 8th grade. This means families do not need to do any back-to-school supply shopping! To help sustain this program, a voluntary $35 contribution per student will be requested from families. Please note that this contribution request is waived for families who qualify for educational benefits.

How to Pay a Fee
First Option - Pay through Campus Parent Portal. Once you log into Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Select Fees.
2. Select Add to Cart next to the Fee you want to pay.
3. Select My Cart.
4. Select the Payment Method you want to use and enter an Email Address for Receipt (optional).
5. Select Submit Payment.

If you do not have a Parent Portal account or experience issues while in Parent Portal, please email portalhelp@faribault.k12.mn.us. Please include your name, address, phone number and student’s name and grade. Having access to the Parent Portal allows parents and guardians to view their student’s attendance, grades, schedule and lunch account balance. If you do not have a Parent Portal account yet, sign up today!

Alternate Option - Pay in the office at your child’s school.

School Supplies for All is sustained by the generosity of families, neighbors, and local partners. If you’re able, please consider a donation to help ensure every Pre-K through 8th grade student starts the year fully equipped and ready to learn. Together, we make this possible.

Roosevelt Early Learning Center (RELC)

All Preschool and Pre-K students must complete an Early Childhood Screening before the start of the school year. Early Childhood Screening is required by the Minnesota Department of Education and is necessary for participation in our preschool and kindergarten programs. If your child has not yet been screened, please visit our site and schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

Welcome Week

August 31 – September 4
All Roosevelt Early Learning Center students and families are invited to attend Welcome Week before the first day of school. During your visit, your family will:

Meet your child's teacher(s)
Have your child's school picture taken
Complete the FAST Assessment (Pre-K and Kindergarten students only; approximately 15–20 minutes)
Visit a school bus and participate in bus safety activities (don't forget your camera!)
Enjoy a fun, self-guided school scavenger hunt

Falcons Beyond

Falcons Beyond after-school programming begins September 21 for all school sites.
Programming is offered Monday through Thursday.
Faribault Middle School and Faribault High School may also offer limited programming on Fridays.

More information about registration and programming will be shared as the start date approaches.

Kids World School-Age Child Care

Kids World offers fee-based before- and after-school child care beginning on the first day of school, as well as programming on many non-school days.

Lincoln & Jefferson (Beginning September 2)
Before School: 6:30 a.m. until school begins
After School: Until 5:30 p.m.

Roosevelt (Beginning September 8)
Before School: 7:00 a.m. until school begins
After School: Until 5:00 p.m.
