          Mondays

Art Club with Mrs. Canfield
Learn advanced art skills in this club with FMS's Art teacher, Mrs. Canfield. She will show you how to paint, draw, and craft through fun projects!

Beginner Coding for Everyone
In this club we will get to create games, make animations and interactive applications using computer Coding.  Work to improve your STEM critical thinking skills together with digital art and sound creativity while exploring your own topics of interest using Scratch and other code platforms.  This will give you the chance to work individually or collaborate together with friends on chosen projects. 

Homework Help
Use this time to work independently or with a teacher to get missing work done, study for tests, or complete assignments. If you finish early, you can play games with your friends! 

River Bend Nature Photography
Students will learn how to operate digital cameras while exploring the wilderness with River Bend Nature Center Staff!

Zumba for Girls
Burn off your Monday energy in this fun and fast paced zumba club! Girls will dance to their favorite songs while exercising with friends.

Extreme Science Experiments
Join Carleton College students in this fun and interactive science club! Make slime, test different substances, and learn all about Science.

Sewing 
For the month of April, come to Sewing club and learn how to use the sewing machines, while making your own projects to take home. 

Ukulele Club
Don’t know anything about reading music or have the cash to buy an instrument?  Want to try an instrument that’s easy to carry and fun to play? Curious to know what has four strings, costs about $40 and looks like a tiny guitar?  This club provides the free use of a ukulele and simple instruction to get you started playing your favorite songs in no time.  Each meeting will include information and instruction about ukulele playing, including history, strumming, playing chords, following a chord chart and fingerpicking. Ukuleles, tuners, and music will be provided during the meeting. Each meeting time will be made up of instruction and group practice.    

Young Chefs
Do you love to cook? Do you want to learn how to cook? Then this club is for YOU! Hang out with Carleton College students while learning how to make your favorite foods!

Learn the basics of sewing by creating little stuffed creatures with felt and buttons! Move on to bigger projects once you get the hang of it!

Pizza and Pages
Do you love to read?  Do love to eat pizza?  Pizza & Pages is an informal book club for student.  We meet on the 4th Wednesday on every month to discuss the books we are currently reading while eating pizza. 

Yoga for Girls
Yoga is a wonderful way of stretching and strengthening your body and it can also help you be a more thoughtful person. Come de-stress and enjoy moving in different ways while learning about how to be more positive and calm with Mrs. Peterson-Linde. 


          Thursdays

Back to the Kitchen
Cook through all the main food groups - grains, protein, fruit, and veggies. Learn how to use all the cooking utensils and make healthy food!

TOP (Teen Outreach Program)

TOP is a safe place for students to build friendships, discuss life, and support healthy decision-making.  TOP seeks to help students understand their ability to make life-altering decisions in their daily lives.  TOP runs from 3:00-4:30 on Thursdays.  *Note: this club is only for Latino/a students.
