Drawing is a fundamental life skill that encourages students to “see like an artist sees,” which can bring a new dimension to self-expression. In these after school classes, we aim to capture student’s interest, let students develop their ideas and talents, and give them goals to work towards. A variety of step-by-step drawing methods are taught using traditional supplies as well as using apps on electronic media.

Ukulele Club
Don’t know anything about reading music or have the cash to buy an instrument?  Want to try an instrument that’s easy to carry and fun to play? Curious to know what has four strings, costs about $40 and looks like a tiny guitar?  This club provides the free use of a ukulele and simple instruction to get you started playing your favorite songs in no time.  Each meeting will include information and instruction about ukulele playing, including history, strumming, playing chords, following a chord chart and fingerpicking. Ukuleles, tuners, and music will be provided during the meeting. Each meeting time will be made up of instruction and group practice.
