FAPSETA & FEEP

Established in 1986, the Faribault Area Public Schools Educational Trust Association functions as a separate, tax-exempt entity that works closely with Independent School District 656 in the administration of the Trust's activities. The board of directors is made up of business, education and community members who have a vested interest in the youth of this community. 

FAPSETA Annual Meeting

The annual board meeting of the Faribault Area Public School Educational Trust Association will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at noon via ZOOM.

In 2018, the Falcon Educational Enrichment Program (FEEP) was developed as a part of the Faribault Area Public Schools Educational Trust Association (FAPSETA). The mission is to secure financial support for specific classroom resources and learning opportunities that are beyond the school district’s budget. Applications for grants are submitted each year by teachers for innovative project ideas that enrich the educational experience of students in the Faribault school district. The FEEP program committee reviews each grant and in the grant cycles to date has awarded over $71,000.  Grants have supported project materials in science, technology, STEM, literacy, the arts, physical education, robotics and cultural awareness.  Students in all grade levels and across all buildings in the district have benefited from the FEEP grants.
